The service

Podex turns long podcasts and interviews into short, action-first summaries. We offer a browsable catalog, a reader, and, on paid plans, the ability to paste a YouTube link and generate a summary. Features may change over time.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• An account is for a single person; do not share it.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Some features require a paid subscription. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice.
• Free previews and free plans are provided as-is and may be limited or changed at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone’s rights.
• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute Podex content except as expressly allowed.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Abuse generation features, or paste content you do not have the right to submit.

Content and intellectual property

• The Service, including our software, design, and the editorial summaries we produce, is owned by Podex and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own purposes while your account is in good standing.
• Podcasts, videos, and other source material belong to their respective owners. Our summaries are original editorial works that reference and describe that material; they are not the source content itself.
• When you paste a link or submit content, you represent that you have the right to do so, and you allow us to process it to provide the Service.

Third-party content and links

The Service references third-party content and links to third-party sites, including YouTube. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for them. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, see our DMCA policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Summaries are for general information only and are not professional, financial, medical, or legal advice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that summaries are complete or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Podex will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
