Podex respects intellectual property. Our summaries are original editorial works that reference and describe publicly available podcasts and interviews; the source podcasts and videos belong to their owners. If you believe content on Podex infringes your copyright, you can ask us to remove it using the process below.
Filing a takedown notice
Send a written notice to our copyright agent at team@getpodex.com that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, such as the URL on getpodex.com.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Incomplete notices may not be actionable. Please do not send notices for content you do not own the rights to.
What happens next
When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and make a reasonable effort to notify the affected user.
Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to team@getpodex.com that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Repeat infringers
We may suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
