Run The Did My Eyes Stop Test
The play
Test every hook and first frame by asking if your own eyes would stop in the first 3 seconds, and cut anything that fails.
Farza Majeed says
I test every hook by asking if my own eyes would stop on it, with zero context. I design the first frame and first three seconds on purpose because that's the only window most scrollers actually see.
Try this
Before recording, check whether your own eyes would stop on the opening line and frame.
