Early Deal Diagnosis
Diagnose within the first conversation whether a real deal exists, and walk away immediately if it does not, rather than losing weeks finding out.
Chris Voss says
At the start of any negotiation, my first move is to find out whether a real deal exists at all or whether it's a bad one. If it turns out to be a waste of time, I walk away fast instead of lingering. I don't see failing to get a deal as a problem, the real mistake is taking too long to reach that conclusion.
Try this
Quickly diagnose if a real deal exists, then walk away fast from bad ones.
