Chase Errors, Not Accuracy, In Early Sessions
Do many reps and let errors happen without correcting every one.
Andrew Huberman says
The goal when learning a new skill is to perform as many repetitions per unit time as you possibly can. Errors cue the nervous system to two things, error correction and opening the window for neuroplasticity. There needs to be a period of each training session where the person can simply pay attention to their errors without their attention being cued to something else. This isn't just for the first session, it might continue for one session or five sessions depending on the person.
Try this
In your next skill session, set a time block and focus purely on doing many repetitions, letting errors happen without stopping to correct every one.
