Hit The Two To Three Times A Week Threshold
Start two to three 45-minute cardio sessions a week if currently under 30 minutes, then scale toward daily over three months.
Dr. Wendy Suzuki says
I ran a study specifically to find the minimum amount of exercise needed to get cognitive benefits in low-fit adults. Two to three times a week of cardio was enough to improve hippocampal memory and mood in that group. When we let mid-fit people scale up to seven times a week, every additional session kept improving their results.
Try this
Start two to three cardio sessions a week if currently inactive, then scale upward over time.
