Run A Weekly Technology Shabbat
Go fully offline for 24 straight hours once a week, with the device physically out of reach, to break the reflex and surface clearer decisions.
Adam Neumann says
I disconnect from technology for 24 to 25 hours once a week, on a set day, away from my family. I pick a day that actually works for my schedule and physically put the phone somewhere I can't reach it. I pay attention to how often my hand reaches for my pocket in the first two hours, because that reflex shows me how addicted I actually am.
Try this
Pick a set day, remove the phone from reach, and track how often you reach for it.
